We all hope to do more to uphold underprivileged, ill patients dealing with challenges — and their families and caretakers — beyond our prayers. Your contribution enables us to deliver nutrition and well-being across the states through our programmes.
Why food relief
Do you know how many humans sleep without eating? Around the world, more than enough food is produced to feed the global population — but as many as 10 lakh people still go hungry. A shortage of bread brings dehydration, starvation, weakened immune systems and damaged brain function, among other harms. Close to 300 crore people survive on hardly ₹200 per day — and that ₹200 must cover all living expenses: meals, transport, housing, emergencies. Many of us spend twice that on our morning tea, coffee and juices. Aspirant started its food campaign so that no child sleeps on an empty stomach.
Hospital programme
The family members of ill patients have no time to look after themselves — nor even to eat — as they constantly care for their loved ones. The majority of underprivileged patients admitted to government hospitals come from villages and neighbouring states and generally do not have enough to eat; in several cases, family members choose to stay hungry to save money.
Aspirant Education serves free, nourishing, hygienic food to underprivileged patients and their families at the government hospital, and to the kids who come from far-off places to the Kota hospitals for longer treatment.
To nourish those working tirelessly to save lives, we also began providing meals to hospitals and COVID care centres across the state — distributed to the entire healthcare workforce: doctors, nurses, assistant teams and office representatives. As the pandemic's second wave hit hard, we expanded supplies to the caretakers of patients who stay outside the hospitals with limited or no access to food and nutrition.
School kids' food relief programme
Aspirant Education works to free underprivileged kids from malnourishment and illiteracy. We provide a portion of nutritious food to children in school — drawing kids to school and thereby serving two purposes: hindering illiteracy and hindering starvation. One nourishing meal at a time brings hundreds of children to school. Our goal is that no child should lack education due to hardship, poverty and hunger.
Undernourishment is a major condition afflicting the children of India, so Aspirant serves good-quality, wholesome food filled with rich nutritional minerals — suitable for growing kids. Join us in providing school-going kids with pure, hygienic, nutritious mid-day meals: your contribution doesn't just feed hungry children, it nurtures them physically and mentally while they shine in their lives, education and sports.
Food for everyone
Feeding the underprivileged is a belief that has been part of Indian culture for generations — a good deed on birthdays, anniversaries, ceremonies, weddings and festivals. At Aspirant, your special occasion can become even more meaningful and memorable when you contribute to Aspirant's movement.
How we use your contribution
Once your contribution reaches us, we split it across meal preparation, distribution and management. We are seeking your support to contribute to underprivileged women and children — they too deserve a disease-free life. We request you to join hands and keep this delivery enduring.
